Macy Callaghan Makes WSL World Tour

Central Coast Surfing Star Macy Callaghan has qualified for the WSL World Surfing League 2019 World Tour.

A huge accomplishment and a dream come true for Callaghan.

Head Coach Amee Donohoe coached Macy during her Junior years as an aspiring semi professional surfer. Macy always showed commitment, dedication and a passion to pursue her dreams. It was only a matter of time before Macy would make the world tour.

A huge congratulations Macy and we wish you all the best on your rookie year on the WSL Dream Tour.

 

Olly Bolton 2nd Place Rip Curl Grom Search

Olly Bolton claims a runner up finish in the Rip Curl Grom Search even in Newcastle beach October 2018.

Olly narrowly missed taking the number one spot in the final minutes of the 25 minute final. Bolton showed what a polished professional surfer he is by dominating all his earlier rounds showcasing progressive and radical surfing.

Well done Olly on a great performance.

These events consist of the best u18 surfers in Australia and at times international competitors.

LOGAN STEINWEDE WINS RIP CURL GROM SEARCH

CCSA Surfer Logan Steinwede has won the prestigious Rip Curl Grom Contest in Western Australia.

Logan Travelled to Scarborough with Coach Amee Donohoe to attend the contest. Logan’s performance was well recognised by the judges all week with high scoring heat scores. His power surfing, wave selection and explosive repertoire in clean 2-3ft waves had the young surfer secure a major win!

CCSA Rider Olly Bolton.

Surfer Profile.

Olly Bolton has been coaching under Amee Donohoe at Central Coast Surf Academy since 2011 and in that time has progressed from strength to strength. Olly shows a real passion for surfing big waves and big wave surfing,  he has surfed waves up to fifteen feet. Olly is currently competing in the Rip Curl Grom series, the Wahu and also made the NSW State titles.

Occy grom 2015

The 2015 Occry grom is fast approaching the event show cases June 25th 2015. The event runs  on the wave fuelled  Dbah coastline on the Gold Coast.

The CCSA grommets are training hard and showing dedication.

Smooth Star Surf Training.

Central Coast Surf Academy is partnered with Smooth Star skateboards and use technical drills by skateboards designed for surfers  to fast track your surfing ability.

Smooth Stars are a great training tool to teach surfers of all levels the importance and no how of how to use and generate speed. Term two Surf Academy will be using the entire range from our friends at Smooth star to get you surfing better!

CCSA Surfer Wins Australian Title

Kirra Belle Olsson wins the U14 Australian titles in Western Australia on the 8th December 2014.

Kirra trained extensively leading into the event and successfully smashed her way to a convincing win in the final against australia best U14 surfers. After a speedy recovery from her shark attack and applying herself to the CCSA elite surf coaching we managed to reestablish goals and a well fought success story.
