At Central Coast Surf Academy, our Learn to Surf – Kids Group Lessons are designed to help children of all ages discover the joy of surfing in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Whether they’re stepping onto a board for the first time or building on existing skills, our team of highly qualified Coaches ensures every child feels confident, safe, and excited about learning to surf.
Led by the most experienced and accredited Coaches on the Central Coast, our Learn to Surf classes focus on building essential surf skills alongside ocean safety and beach awareness. Lessons are packed with fun, giving kids the chance to make new friends while developing a lifelong love for the ocean.
Every session is tailored to suit the group’s ability level, ensuring that all children — from complete beginners to budding surfers — feel challenged, supported, and proud of their progress.
Throughout our Learn to Surf – Kids Group Lessons, participants will work on:
- Learn to Surf skills and techniques
- Ocean safety and beach awareness
- Paddling, standing up, and riding waves
- Board control and balance skills
- Basic wave selection and positioning
Locations: Avoca Beach, MacMasters Beach, Copacabana Beach, Toowoon Bay, Shelly Beach, Terrigal Beach, Blue Lagoon
