Central Coast Surf Academy’s School Holiday Surf Camps are the ultimate way for kids aged 7 – 16 years to build their surf skills, ocean confidence, and love for the water – all while having fun!
Whether your child is a complete beginner or already riding green waves, our Surf Camps are designed to meet them at their level and fast-track their progress in a safe, supportive environment.
Our Beginner School Holiday Surf Camps introduce kids to the fundamentals of surfing and ocean safety through fun, full-day sessions filled with water time, beach games, and new friendships. No experience is needed – just a willingness to learn and enjoy the ride!
For more confident surfers, our Intermediate Fibreglass Surf Camps offer an elevated experienced with structured coaching, technique development, video analysis, and mentoring – all focused on helping participants take their skills to the next level.
Let by our team of highly qualified, friendly Coaches, our School Holiday Surf Camps are a safe, exciting way to keep kids active and outdoors during the holidays.
Depending on level and group placements, camp participants will focus on:
- Learn to Surf fundamentals: warm ups, paddling, wave catching and standing
- Ocean safety and beach awareness
- Riding broken and unbroken (green) waves
- Surf technique, positioning, wave selection
- Advanced coaching and video analysis (Intermediate camps only)
- Beach games, surf challenges, and fun group activities
Locations: Avoca Beach, Terrigal Beach, Toowoon Bay
Duration: Full day session (6 hours – drop and go)
Equipment included: Surfboard, wetsuit, rash vest
