Macy Callaghan Makes WSL World Tour

Central Coast Surfing Star Macy Callaghan has qualified for the WSL World Surfing League 2019 World Tour.

A huge accomplishment and a dream come true for Callaghan.

Head Coach Amee Donohoe coached Macy during her Junior years as an aspiring semi professional surfer. Macy always showed commitment, dedication and a passion to pursue her dreams. It was only a matter of time before Macy would make the world tour.

A huge congratulations Macy and we wish you all the best on your rookie year on the WSL Dream Tour.

 

Olly Bolton 2nd Place Rip Curl Grom Search

Olly Bolton claims a runner up finish in the Rip Curl Grom Search even in Newcastle beach October 2018.

Olly narrowly missed taking the number one spot in the final minutes of the 25 minute final. Bolton showed what a polished professional surfer he is by dominating all his earlier rounds showcasing progressive and radical surfing.

Well done Olly on a great performance.

These events consist of the best u18 surfers in Australia and at times international competitors.

 

 

Owner Amee Donohoe wins Australian Title

Owner operator of Central Coast Surf Academy Amee Donohoe has claimed another Australian title winning her third consecutive Open Masters title on the Queenslands coast.

Donohoe posted the highest heat total of the entire event showcasing a near perfect 19 point total out of 20.

Amee looks forward to heading back home for the summer months and mentoring her students at Central Coast Surf Academy.

 

Elite Surf Coach Amee Donohoe Wins State Titles

Amee Donohoe claimed her third state title over the weekend at Boomerang Beach on the NSW east coast. Donohoe who is the owner and elite surf coach at Central Coast Surf Academy continues her successful career both in and out of the water.

Coaching and mentoring aspiring professional surfers as well as continuing a winning streak in  a rashest.

 

 

Kirra Belle Olsson Wins Pro Junior

CCSA Surfer wins Hydralyte Pro Junior

Kirra-Belle Olsson’s dream of winning a Pro Junior came true today when she took down a blisteringly in-form Zahli Kelly in the Girls final. In what deteriorated into windsweapt peaks by finals time, Olsson was able to execute a variety of giant turns to muster up a respectable 12.50 to claim her maiden pro junior win.

“My goal for 2018 is to win the rankings [Junior Qualifying Series (JQS) rankings] and I know I have a bit of work to do, but hopefully this will help my confidence in the final three events of the year,” said Olsson.

Sarah Baum Wins Central Coast Pro

Sarah Baum wins Vissla Central Coast Pro.

Former World number #11 Sarah Baum has found her way back into the winning spot light after spending time coaching with CCSA Head Coach Amee Donohoe.

Amee has been coaching Sarah leading into the event and during the event using her experience and knowledge as a professional surfer. Winning the event was the goal and the coaching duo couldn’t be happy with Sarahs plans to make a comeback into professional surfing.

Amee is currently coaching Sarah as she prepares for her next World Tour events leading into South Africa.

Coach Amee Donohoe wins Australian Title

CCSA owner and head coach Amee Donohoe has won the 2017 Australian Masters surfing titles.

Donohoe had the events highest heat total for the entire event boasting two excellent rides to take the win.

She was also awarded the prestigious surfer of the event award recognising her long standing successful career and for her involvement  in the sport for continually giving back to new  and future generations.

 

 

Kirra Belle Olsson Wins Australian Title

CCSA Surfer Kirra Belle Olsson wins the Australian open surfing titles held at Duranbah beach.

Kirra held the lead over Jessica Grimwood, Piper Harrison and her Coach Amee Donohoe.

Donohoe was extremly pleased with the result which will see Kirra head to France in 2018 to compete for Australia at the ISA world games.
