Being sheltered from the south swells and offering waves in the 1-3ft range daily this beach often makes it perfect for beginners, surfers starting out, young children or anyone who is hesitant in bigger conditions. Terrigal Bend is exposed to more swell and offers intermediate and advanced leveled surfers great waves all year round.
The haven at Terrigal beach is a world-class waves which can handle huge swells up to 15ft and is to be ridden by experienced surfers only. When this breaks Terrigal beach will be clean and the spot of choice by most surfers serving up perfect clean 3-5ft waves.
